Taekwondo evening classes are offered in Lakeland, at our Alamo Plaza location, Monday through Thursday and range from 30 minutes to 1 hour in length.

Intro Classes:

Intro Classes:
Introductory classes are a great way to see if taekwondo is for you without any pressure. You are about to take the first step to becoming a black belt! In order to get you started on the right foot, we will arrange some extra help and assistance to your first few classes. These first two classes are free and meet every few weeks on Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 - 6:00pm. Check the calendar on the home page or give us a call for details.
Family Classes:
Our program classes are structured to be family friendly and lots of fun. Every belt level can attend most classes where we will further divide the class into smaller groups. This allows families to train together. Enjoy exercise and technique-focused classes that will prepare you for self-defense and assist you as you level up to the next belt.
Can Anyone Do This?
YES! We work with all people to help them achieve their fitness and self-defense goals. No matter if you have old injuries or limited flexibility, we can help get you into shape and learn some new skills! We want you to come alongside of you and help you be successful in your goals.

Classes:
Family Martial Arts Center believes in offering the highest quality taekwondo training in a family fun atmosphere. The Little Ninjas program was designed to teach students between the ages of 4 to 6. This program was designed to break down the learning steps and offer a fun, energy-filled class with their peers. Besides learning the basics of self defense, the Little Ninjas program will also provide the life skills such as concentration, respect, discipline, coordination, and exercise to prepare for their bright future.

Snacks & beverages, homework & study time, game time, and taekwondo training.
Class Rotation:
Pre-K through 1st Grade Class meets Monday/Wednesday 4:00-4:30pm
2nd Grade & Up White Belts meet Monday/Wednesday 4:30-5:00pm
Yellow Belts & Higher meet Tuesday/Thursday 4:30-5:10pm

After school classes pick up by bus from our local schools in the Lakeland area. You may pick up your child at any time. Unless there is a special circumstance, please allow your child to finish their martial arts class before picking up. This gives the instructors more opportunity to work the class lesson with your child.
